Enhancing Resident Safety: Fire Sprinklers in SDA

21.09.23

As construction progresses at our latest Specialist Disability Accommodation development in Cannington, we are excited to share that the roof covers of our High Physical Support homes are now complete. With the roof in place, our attention has turned to the installation of fire sprinkler run-ins and fire panels. In our disability homes, safety and security of our residents is paramount. Although not a requirement of NDIS, we choose to install fire sprinkler systems to provide an extra layer of protection for residents.

We typically provide housing for residents who require a high level of physical support. These are individuals who typically rely on person-to-person supports. To meet their specific needs, these homes feature backup power supplies, cutting-edge home automation and communication technology and provisions for ceiling hoists. Our aim is to create an environment where residents can thrive and feel secure.

Given our residents limited mobility, it's important to Pulse to ensure their safety during emergencies. That's why we've made the conscious choice to install fire sprinkler systems in all our disability homes, including our latest development in Cannington. Stay tuned for more updates as we strive to ensure a secure and nurturing environment for our valued tenants.
