Scarborough Beach gets another $18m - have your say
We’re delighted and thrilled to learn that Scarborough has secured an additional $18m to further develop and transform the beach foreshore into a world-class tourist destination and one of the great beaches of Australia.
The proposed Development Plan includes of a series of key destinations including Sunset Hill, Scarborough Square, an International Plaza, Beach Hub and a Transit Hub. In addition they propose to upgrade landscaping, lighting, public amenities, improvements for pedestrians and road/parking modifications.
The Metropolitan Retail Authority are requesting comment on the plan. Therefore, please take few seconds to comment on this fantastic upcoming Plan for Scarborough beach! Public comment is only open until 1st June so head there now.
