Amanda and Keira on The SDA Housing Podcast

At Pulse Property Solutions, we are committed to creating homes that not only meet but exceed the expectations of our residents. Our latest SDA development in Cannington highlights our dedication to providing high-quality, versatile, and accessible housing. Managing Director Amanda Gauci recently joined designer Keira Nicholson from Collective Design Agency in an interview with Debbie from The SDA Housing Podcast. Amanda shared insights into our development process, the importance of tenant matching, and the collaborative efforts that make our projects successful.
Developing SDA properties comes with its own set of challenges. Amanda and Keira discussed their experiences navigating the complexities of compliance, council regulations, and design constraints. They emphasised the importance of flexibility and innovation in overcoming these hurdles. Integrating feedback from tenants and ongoing collaboration with builders and designers help us refine our approach and improve future projects.
A key aspect discussed was the tenant matching process. Amanda highlighted that about half of the available rooms across the three properties have been filled. Finding suitable tenants involves working closely with our Supported Independent Living (SIL) provider and actively engaging with potential residents. Given the specific needs of our tenants, who are mostly wheelchair users, we prioritise careful matching to ensure compatibility and long-term success.
As we wrap up this phase of our Cannington project, we look forward to our next ventures. With two more projects in the pipeline, we are excited to continue our journey of creating inclusive and supportive housing alongside Keira at Collective Design Agency.
