Paving and landscaping have officially commenced, marking a significant step toward the completion of our newest Cannington SDA! With the last minute finishes going in, the homes are now making the all important transformation from construction sites to beautiful modern homes.

Getting the paving down is a major milestone that allows prospective tenants in wheelchairs to navigate the site and envision their future homes in real life. We can’t wait to show off these modern homes to their future residents, their friends and families and their dedicated support network at our upcoming open house next week. It is so wonderful to be able to show them through these thoughtfully designed homes with large spacious resident bedrooms, some with private outdoor access, and each with their very own expansive private ensuite. They will get to immerse themselves in the well appointed open-plan kitchens with adjustable benchtops and imagine themselves participating in meal preparation and the cooking experience. They will see that storage has been thought of with each resident bedroom featuring a double sliding door wardrobe and plenty of space for accompanying furniture, plus the storage rooms and spaces added to each garage space.

In just a few short weeks these homes will be complete and will be home to six NDIS participants - so exciting!
