Setting the Bar High: Foundation Housing's UDIA Excellence Award

19.09.23

We are absolutely thrilled to announce Foundation Housing's remarkable achievement at the recent UDIA Awards. The UDIA WA Awards for Excellence serve as an annual celebration of the most exceptional projects within the urban development industry across Western Australia. This prestigious awards program is widely recognised as the pinnacle of recognition for excellence in community creation, innovation, and sustainability. We are delighted to report that Foundation Housing's Specialist Disability Accommodation development in Bassendean has received the prestigious Judges' Award. This project was expertly managed by Pulse, from the initial design and planning phases right through to its successful completion, and we are absolutely overjoyed to share this fantastic news.

These exquisitely designed homes were built to the High Physical Support category under the NDIS guidelines. Each residence boasts three generously-sized bedrooms, each equipped with a private ensuite, ensuring the utmost comfort and privacy for its occupants. What truly sets this project apart is the inclusion of soaring high ceilings that grace every inch of these homes, creating an ambiance of sheer luxury. This feeling of opulence seamlessly extends into the unique design of the outdoor spaces, where the two homes combine in a shared outdoor entertaining area, providing ample opportunities for socialisation and relaxation.

Foundation Housing's win at the UDIA Awards is a testament to their unwavering commitment to creating inclusive, innovative, and sustainable communities. We are incredibly grateful to have been part of the groundbreaking Bassendean project and thrilled to be working together again on the next project collaboration, setting a new standard for future projects in the industry.
